British Council
The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. The British Council creates international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and builds trust between them worldwide. It has offices in ten cities across India. The British Council manages prestigious scholarships and training awards, including the Jubilee scholarships, the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan and the Charles Wallace India Trust awards. Its English language centres in Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi  provide a range of general and business English classes, specialised skills based programmes and young learner courses.

UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI)
UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) started in April 2006 with the aim of enhancing educational links between India and the UK. It has been recognized as a key multi stakeholder programme that has strengthened the educational relations between the two countries and been successful in covering all segments of the education sector. UKIERI is funded from the UK by Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, British Council, Scottish Government, Welsh Government and Department for Employment and Learning; and from India by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department for Science and Technology, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Labour and Employment, University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education.

IELTS

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships support Master’s study and are jointly funded by the CSC and UK universities. These fully-funded scholarships are intended for students from developing countries who would not otherwise be able to afford to study in the UK, to gain skills and knowledge which will allow them to contribute to the development of their home countries.
Chevening Fellowships
Chevening Fellowships are awarded to talented professionals who are potential future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion formers. The fellowships offer financial support to mid-career professionals already in positions of leadership and influence. These people are active in their field or subject and are looking to further enhance and expand their knowledge, skills and expertise by spending time in the UK on a short course or for a predetermined period of self-directed research.
Felix Scholarship
The Felix Scholarship was founded to offer gifted underprivileged students from India and certain other developing countries the opportunity of furthering their postgraduate education by attending a university in the UK.The primary objective of the Felix Scholarship is to stimulate the Felix scholars by exposing them to academic study, cultures, experiences and friendships that they would not otherwise have had the chance to sample.  It is hoped that this in turn will endow them with skills and visions, enabling them, when returning to their country of origin, to contribute to the culture and welfare of their home communities.
Inlaks Scholarships
Inlaks Scholarships provide the opportunity to young people with exceptional talent in any field to broaden their vision abroad and improve their skills to operate in society, thus making them a future vehicle of change in their environment. The scholarships are of two types: university courses and specific programs. Scholarships are granted at top American, European and UK institutions, for funding requirements including tuition fees.
