Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is a Registered Not-For-Profit Organization Popularizing Computer, Science, Mathematics, English, Sports Knowledge and Company Secretaries’ Education among school children.

Kerala State Higher Education Council Scholarship
Kerala State Higher Education Council Scholarship is given for students who join the first year in Government/Aided Arts and Science Colleges and University departments in Kerala.
HDFC Bank Educational Crisis Scholarship Support
With the aim of empowering individuals who are economically and socially disadvantaged, the HDFC Bank has constituted ‘Educational Crisis Scholarship Support’ (ECSS) programme. Economic hardship or a crisis in the family sometimes has a direct impact on the education of children, often resulting in the child dropping out of school/college/university. ECSS has been conceptualized to provide assistance to these students, to tide over a difficult situation/Personal/Family Crisis without adverse impact on their education.
ECSS aims to cover students from recognized Private or Government aided schools between standards 6 and 12 and students studying in undergraduate and post-graduate courses (full-time/part-time degree/diploma/ courses) who due to personal/family crises are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out of school/college/university. The Scholarship will cover the total annual School Fee upto a maximum of Rs.10,000/- and College/University Fee upto a maximum of Rs.25,000/- of the selected candidates.
Central Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from poor families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of senior secondary examination. 82000 fresh scholarships per annum (41000 for boys and 41000 for girls) for graduate/post-graduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering, etc. could be provided. The total number of scholarships has been divided amongst the State Boards based on the State’s population in the age group of 18-25 years, after segregating share of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on the basis of number of students passing out from various Boards in the country.
Scheme of Scholarship to Students from Non-Hindi Speaking States for PostMatricStudies in Hindi
The objectives of the Scheme is to encourage the study of Hindi in non-Hindi speaking States and to make available to the State Governments, suitable personnel to man teaching and other posts where knowledge of Hindi is essential. The Scheme was revised from 2004-05. Under the revised Scheme, 2500 Scholarships are provided to meritorious students studying at Post-Metric to Ph.D level, for recognized fulltime courses of education for study of Hindi as one of the subjects on the basis of the results of “examinations next below” conducted by a Board of Education or a University or a Voluntary HindiOrganisation. The rate of Scholarship ranges from Rs.300/- to 1000/- per month depending upon the course/stage of study. This scheme is implemented through the State Government /UT Administrations.
Special Scholarship Scheme forJammu& Kashmir
Under the Scheme, the students belonging to the State ofJammu& Kashmir, who have passed the Class XII or equivalent exam through the State Board ofJammu& Kashmir or from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated schools located inJammu& Kashmir, and pursuing general degree courses, engineering and medical studies in Colleges/ Institutes located outside the State ofJammu& Kashmir, are eligible for scholarship provided their parental income is less thanRs. 6.00lakhper annum. The Scheme aims to provide tuition fees, hostel fees, cost of books and other incidental charges to students. Five thousand fresh scholarships are available every year, of which 4500 scholarships are for general degree courses, 250 for engineering and 250 for medical studies. The scheme is being implemented through a web portal of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund
Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund (VKSSF) envisages grant of Merit Cum Means scholarship for students having Konkani language as their mother tongue.
GP Birla Scholarship
G.P. Birla Education Foundation provides Scholarships to meritorious students, male or female, from West Bengal, who have passed class XII examination and have secured 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board or have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests and are in need of financial help to pursue further studies. Further studies may be in any stream including Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary and Cost Accountancy Course in any recognized University in India.
Fair & Lovely Foundation Scholarship
Fair & Lovely Foundation provides Scholarships to women with Indian citizenship for higher education. Scholarships are in three categories:
1. Get a higher education-Candidates who want to pursue graduation, post graduation and PhD studies from Government Recognised Indian Universities can apply. Candidates should have secured minimum 60% in the 10th and 12th standard.
2. Develop your career-Candidate should have secured minimum 50% in 8th standard and above throughout the schooling.
3. Start a business- Candidates should have secured minimum 50% in the 10th and 12th standard. Candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant work or business experience.
I am the Change Fellowship
I am the Change Fellowship is a 2 year paid fellowship program for any undergraduate or postgraduate professionals below 40 years old with 0 to 20 years of job experience. During the fellowship period, every fellow will be allocated a unique project in the educational sector which they need to complete within their fellowship period. The idea behind the fellowship program is to encourage top talents in the country to dedicate two years for the country, for the needy. Nokia Open Innovation Challenge
The Nokia Open Innovation Challenge 2016, arranged in partnership with venture firm Nokia growth partners, is looking for futuristic technologies, the next big ideas and new business models in the Internet of things (IoT) domain. Innovators, startups or academia from around the world can participate in this challenge and take a leap towards making the programmable world happen. The rewards for the finalists include receiving a technology boost by entering the Nokia innovation accelerator program, access to the internal and global market of Nokia and investment opportunities from Nokia Growth Partners (NGP) and other venture capital firms. What’s more the top three teams will share incubation prize money of €100,000.
Santoor Scholarship program
The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. It intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. The program is being launched in 2016-17 and will offer 900 scholarships across the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is a recurring annual program and selected girls will be supported for the duration of their higher education. The support covers tuition fees and incidental expenses. Besides students inclined towards professional courses, those who intend to pursue higher education in the field of humanities, liberal arts and sciences are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to students from backward districts.
R D Sethna Scholarship Fund
The R D Sethna Scholarship Fund grants only loan scholarships to students who are citizens of India, regardless of community, caste or creed. Loan scholarships are granted to enable students to undertake scientific, technical, industrial or commercial studies in India and overseas on the condition that they are repayable with interest in terms of the agreement and other documents required to be entered into and executed by applicants and their male guarantors.
ONGC scholarship meritorious SC/ST students
ONGC offers scholarships for meritorious ST/ST students persuing professional courses in Engineering, Medical stream and Masters degree courses in Business Administration, Geology and Geophysics. Total 500 scholarships worth Rs. 48000 per annum each are provided.
Teach For India Fellowship
The Teach For India Fellowship program, is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth, from the nation’s best universities and workplaces, to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in some of the nation’s most under-resourced schools. Through this experience of teaching in classrooms and working with key education stakeholders like students, principals, and parents, the Fellows get exposed to the grassroot realities of India’s education system and begin to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mindsets necessary to attain positions of leadership in education and identify their role in building a wider movement for educational equity in the country.
KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Programme
The programme provides scholarship for students who have qualified meritoriously in the Higher Secondary Examination from Kerala for pursuing Degree/ Post Graduate courses in Basic/ Natural Science in Institutions/ Universities in India.
Who can apply?
Students who have qualified with minimum aggregate marks of 95% or equivalent grade for all subjects and minimum 95% aggregate marks or equivalent grade for all science subjects for the Higher secondary Board Examination. Such students should also have  secured admission for B.Sc. /Integrated M.Sc. courses in Basic or Natural Science in any of the Institutions or Universities in India.(SC/ST reservation category the minimum eligibility is stipulated to minimum marks of 90% or equivalent grade for all subjects in total and minimum 90% marks or equivalent grade for all science subjects in total in the Higher Secondary Board Examination.)
South Indian Bank Scholarship Scheme
South Indian Bank has come up with the scholarship scheme “SIB Scholar” where we support a total of 42 students (3 students each from 14 districts of Kerala) to pursue their education.
Applications for scholarships are invited from students studying in Govt. /Aided colleges in the State of Kerala. The courses included under the scholarship are B.Tech/B.E, M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.A.M.S, B.H.M.S, B.V.M.S, B.Pharm, B.Sc (Nursing), BSc (Agri) and other regular three years and above full time U.G. courses approved by Universities in Kerala only.As part of the scholarship, Bank will pay/reimburse 100% of the tuition fees as per the fee structure for seats allotted in the Government quota in Govt. and Aided colleges. A monthly allowance of Rs.4000/- towards hostel/subsistence cost will also be paid to the hostel authorities/SB account of the student for the entire duration of the regular course. The backlog of the student in the course, if more than one year, will make the student ineligible for the scholarship. The students will have to submit the progress report as and when required by the bank.
LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education and thus enhance their employability.
The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private college/university. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.
ELIGIBILITY
Students who have passed Class XII exam or its equivalent and are interested to pursue higher education in the field of
i) Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses.
ii) Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation scholarship Programme
The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, under its postgraduate scholarship Programme, offers Indian students with consistently high academic record an interest-free loan scholarship for post-graduation. The PG scholarship amount, extending up to a maximum of Rs. 20 lakhs, is awarded on the basis of the Foundation’s assessment of prospective candidates.
