National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM)
National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Haryana, is an Autonomous Institution under Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. The institute intends to act as a centre of excellence and an apex world class centre of global standards in the area of food technology and management. UGC has granted NIFTEM a deemed to be University status under De-novo Category meant for institutions devoted to innovations in teaching and research in emerging areas of knowledge as unique accomplishment. The focal areas of NIFTEM are teaching, research, consultancy, skill development, business incubation and enterprise development.

Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT)
The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (Formerly Paddy Processing Research Centre), Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, is a pioneer Research and Development Institute under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.
Programmes:
1. Food Process Engineering
PIICPT offers B.Tech., M.Tech and. Ph.D. programs in Food Process Engineering. The B.Tech. (FPE) program will be of 4 years or 8 semester duration, the M.Tech (FPE) will be of 2 years or 6 trimester duration and the Ph.D. (FPE) will usually be of 3 years or 9 trimester durations.
2. M.Tech in Food Science and Technology.
