Career in Petroleum Engineering

Petroleum engineering has become a preferred career option today. Petroleum engineers have an important role in the world of oil. They are responsible for locating, recovering and maintaining oil and gas supplies. Petroleum engineers design techniques for extracting oil and gas. They are involved in all stages of oil production, from helping to locate a potential well site, drilling, production, processing and transportation. A petroleum engineer supervises drilling operations and resolves any operating problems.
